Discover the cardiac and non cardiac endovascular interventions performed by our team

Interventional cardiology includes all interventions performed through the endovascular route, which means by passing through a blood vessel. For many patients, these interventions enable the avoidance of cardiac surgery. A catheter is introduced into the vascular bed, arterial or venous, by a simple puncture through the skin and is then brought under fluoroscopic (X-ray) guidance to a cavity, a valve or an artery to be treated.

The interventional cardiology team at the Clinique Belledonne performs a wide range of cardiac and non-cardiac endovascular interventions that are presented to you in this patient guide.
